Qurany Kids ('we', 'our' or 'us') is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Account Information

• Email address (when signing in with Google, Apple, or Email/Password)

• Profile picture (from Google account, if applicable)

Child Profile Information

• Child's name (as entered by parent)
• Age range (stored locally on device only, never transmitted to servers)
• Selected avatar
• Learning progress and achievements

Usage Data

• Quran memorization progress
• Study time and activity
• App preferences and settings
• Qurany Points (QP) balance and transaction history (virtual reward points)
• Aquarium game progress (fish collection, game scores)
• Leaderboard ranking data (anonymized display name only)
• Subscription status (managed by RevenueCat)

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Data is stored on your device locally and synced to the cloud when you sign in with your account.

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication: For user sign-in (Google, Apple, Email/Password)
• Firebase Firestore: For cloud data storage, sync, and anonymous leaderboard data
• Firebase Cloud Messaging: For push notifications (daily reminders, streak alerts, weekly summaries)
• RevenueCat: For subscription and in-app purchase management. RevenueCat processes purchase receipts and subscription status. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.
• Quran.com API: For Quran text and audio content
• AlQuran.cloud API: For Quran translations

Qurany Kids is designed for use by children under parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All account creation and management should be done by a parent or guardian. Child profiles are created and managed by the parent account holder.

• Child age is stored locally only and NOT transmitted to servers
• No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs are used
• No behavioral tracking or profiling of children
• No cross-app or cross-device tracking
• Microphone data is processed locally, never transmitted
• In-app purchases require parental verification

• Parents control all account settings
• Parents can view, edit, or delete child profiles
• Parents can request complete data deletion
• Math-based parental gates protect sensitive features

With your permission, we may send push notifications including:

• Daily memorization reminders
• Streak alerts to encourage consistent learning
• Weekly progress summaries

You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or through the parent settings within the app.

Qurany Kids offers optional premium features through subscription plans. Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly collect or store payment information such as credit card numbers.

• Purchase receipts are processed by RevenueCat to verify subscription status
• We store your subscription status (active/inactive) to enable premium features
• All payment processing is handled by Apple or Google, not by us
• Children cannot make purchases independently - all subscriptions are managed through parent accounts and require parental verification

The app includes a child-safe leaderboard feature. Leaderboard entries use anonymized display names only and do not reveal personal information. Leaderboard data (anonymized name and score) is stored in Firebase Firestore. No personally identifiable information is shared with other users through the leaderboard.

The app features a virtual reward system called Qurany Points (QP) that children earn through learning activities. QP can be used within the interactive Aquarium feature to collect fish and play educational mini-games. QP has no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real currency. QP balances and aquarium progress are stored locally on your device and synced to your account when signed in.

You can delete your account directly from within the app. Go to Parent Settings > Delete Account. This will permanently delete your Firebase account, all cloud-stored data (profiles, progress, achievements), and clear all local data. Account deletion is immediate and irreversible. You may also request account deletion by contacting us at msuf@halfbloodstudio.com.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Parent Settings > Delete Account) or by contacting us. Local data can be cleared by uninstalling the app.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
